You are in command when you choose a fishing holiday with Foyle Fishing. You simply tell us what you would like to do and we arrange your trip to your exact requirments. The flexiblity we offer means that whatever your budget or party size we can accomodate you.

You have the option to let us take care of everything or you can make your own arrangments, allowing us to focus on your fishing needs for the duration of the trip. See the chart below for a breakdown of your options:

The Salmon Lodge

Transport

You have the option to be collected and returned to any of the local airports, including Belfast, Derry and Dublin. We can also arrange transport from your Hotel to the rivers.

Accomodation

There is a wide variety of accomodation available locally, including Hotels, Self catering apparments, Guesthouses, Cottages and B&B's. Just let us know your party size and what type of accomodation you would like and we can do the rest.

Fishing Equipment and Licences

We have fishing equipment available or you can bring your own. We also arrange your licesces for the rivers you will be fishing on.

Fishing Guide/Gillie

We recomend that you spend at least one day of your trip with an experienced Fishing Guide. They will show you where the best fishing areas are at the time of your visit. You also have the option to have a guide for additonal days.

The Four Main Rivers

The main rivers in the Foyle System are the Finn, Mourne, Roe and the Faughan, all are fast flowing, rocky rivers, abundant with Salmon, Sea Trout and Brown Trout during mid June to October. From March to April Grilse may also be caught.
